IT Engineers are one of the top-paying professionals in the Philippines with average monthly salaries of Php30,000-Php40,000 for entry-levels and Php50,000-Php100,000 for supervisory and managerial positions. In Japan, they also enjoy the same high salary offer, averaging around ¥200,000-¥400,000 for entry-levels and ¥500,000 to ¥900,000 for advanced positions.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) also reported that applications software developers earned a mean yearly salary of $102,160 in May 2015, while systems software developers made an average salary of $108,760 per year. The BLS also predicted that software development jobs are expected to rise 17% from 2014-2024, which was much faster than average. Meanwhile, computer hardware engineers were earning an average of more than $110,650 annually, based on BLS figures from May of 2014. Their salary will grow at a rate of 7% between 2012 and 2022.
